On the first day of the 3-day Sahara Desert tour from Fez to Fez, after an early breakfast, you will begin your ascent into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding through the beautiful forests, rugged rock formations, and Berber villages that dot this mountain range. Afterward, you will begin your descent from the mountains and continue the journey toward the Sahara Desert. A lunch break will be taken in Midelt, a town known for its fossils and rocks. Upon arriving at the Kasbah in Merzouga, you can enjoy a hot shower or a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, depending on the weather. Dinner will be served at your accommodation.

After enjoying the beautiful sunrise, breakfast will be served, followed by a departure for a 4x4 excursion around the dunes of Erg Chebbi, some of which reach heights of up to 150 meters. The journey will then continue to the village of Khamlia, where you will have the opportunity to experience a captivating Gnaoua music performance. After visiting the village of Merzouga and the oasis of Hassilabied with its irrigation system, you will return for lunch at the inn.

You will have free time to enjoy the beauty of the desert from your accommodation, which is situated right at the foot of the sand dunes, with access to the swimming pool and opportunities for dune climbing—perfect for relaxing in this paradise setting. In the afternoon, you will meet the camel herders for a camel ride through the dunes to admire a stunning sunset. After a pause on the dunes, you will return on the backs of the camels to your accommodation for dinner.
