This tour will introduce you to the imperial cities, rich in architectural and historical treasures, full of culture and tradition. You will explore part of the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts, including the charming blue town of Chefchaouen and the must-see city of Essaouira. Along the way, you’ll discover souks, medinas, and other wonders, explore kasbahs, palm groves, and the beauty of the Merzouga Desert, with a camel ride (also known as an Arabian dromedary).

Schedule Details

DAY 1: CASABLANCA / RABAT

Arrival at Casablanca Airport. Welcome by our French-English-Spanish speaking driver and departure for a tour of the interior and exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. After the visit, lunch, and then a panoramic tour of: the economic capital, United Nations Square, Mohammed V Boulevard, the Anfa villa district, and the Ain Diab corniche.

Then continue to Rabat for dinner and accommodation.

*For the interior visit of the Hassan II Mosque, you will be paired with a group.

DAY 2: RABAT / ASSILAH / TANGIER

Breakfast and departure for a guided historical tour of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Stroll on the esplanade of the Royal Palace, known as Dar el Makhzen, adorned with the grandest historical gates. Then, proceed to the guided tour of the Hassan Tower and the prestigious mausoleum of Mohammed V. This marble mausoleum represents traditional Moroccan style and is considered one of the most beautiful tombs in the world.

Next, discover the ramparts of the Mechouar, the Kasbah garden, and the Kasbah of the Oudaias, built in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty. The grand gate was constructed by the Almohad sultan Yacoub el Mansour. After the guided tour of these historical sites, continue to the city of Assilah for lunch, followed by a visit to Cape Spartel, where the waters of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean blend.

Continue to Tangier, crossing the Mediterranean coast for a guided historical walking tour. Located on the Strait of Gibraltar, the city offers a fascinating mix of Africa, Europe, and the East. Tangier has inspired many internationally renowned artists, starting from the kasbah that overlooks the port, situated at the highest point of the city. Then, visit the Grand Socco, the heart of this modern and vibrant city, and the Petit Socco, located in the center of the Medina.

At the end of the day, dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3: TANGER / CAPE DE MALABATA & COTE MEDITERRANEE / TETOUAN / CHEFCHAOUEN

Breakfast and departure for Chefchaouen via the stunning scenic route along Cape Malabata. This route runs along the coast to Ceuta and offers magnificent views of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Rif Mountains plunging into the blue Mediterranean.

Continue to Chefchaouen via the city of Tétouan, situated in the Rif Mountains. The road ascends into the Rif Mountains, revealing a splendid and entirely different landscape. Welcome to the Blue City, Chefchaouen! The first thing to do is have lunch, followed by free time to explore the medina located at the foot of the Rif Mountains, where you’ll be captivated by the narrow blue streets. You will be charmed by the beauty of Chefchaouen.

At the end of the day, dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4: CHEFCHAOUEN / VOLUBILIS / MEKNÈS / MOULAY IDRISS / FEZ

Breakfast and departure for the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, which contain primarily Roman remnants at the foot of Jebel Zerhoun. Then admire the beautiful panorama of the holy city of Moulay Idriss.

Lunch in Meknès, the "Ismaili Capital of Morocco." Enjoy a guided historical panoramic tour, including the imperial section with Bab Lakhmis, the grand gate richly decorated from the 17th century. Bab el Mansour is the most remarkable gate in the city of Meknès and is ranked among the four most beautiful gates in the world and the most important in North Africa.

Visit the granaries and stables of Moulay Ismail at Heri Es-Souani, built by Moulay Ismail in the 18th century, the Agdal Basin, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Finally, return to the spiritual capital, the oldest city in Morocco, Fez, for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 5: GUIDED TOUR OF THE CITY OF FEZ

Breakfast and departure to explore Fez. You will start with a guided historical tour of Fès El-Jdid and a stroll on the esplanade of the Royal Palace to admire its mysterious golden doors. Then continue for a guided walking tour of the medina, which is the largest medina (old town) in the world. “Fès El Bali” is the oldest neighborhood in Fez, founded between 789 and 808 by the Idrissids.

Next, discover the Madrasa el Attarine, built in 1323 by the Merinid Sultan Abou Saïd, renowned for its exquisite decoration showcasing the authentic architecture of Eastern civilization, as well as the exterior view of the ancient Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, one of the many sites in the Medina of Fez and certainly the most beautiful.

Visit Place Néjjarine and its fountain adorned with mosaics, the bustling commercial sectors, and local markets, where you will see artisans and merchants at work. Explore the Chouara Tannery, established since the Middle Ages, which is one of the most spectacular places in the medina.

After lunch, depart for a visit to a world-renowned ceramic workshop in Fez, followed by a stunning panoramic view at Borj Nord, offering breathtaking views of the old city. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 6: FEZ / IFRANE / MIDELT / ERFOUD / MERZOUGA / LUXURY BIVOUAC

Breakfast and departure for Merzouga, the Sahara, via Ifrane, often referred to as the "Little Swiss of Morocco." A brief stop to explore this charming town, located at a high altitude and surrounded by cedar forests, one of the most beautiful places in the Atlas Mountains. You may have the opportunity to meet Barbary macaques.

Lunch in the town of Midelt, followed by a drive to Erfoud, crossing the Tizi Talghemt pass at an altitude of 1907 meters and the Ziz Gorge, which offers the most spectacular views of the day. A photo stop will be made in the Ziz Valley, considered one of the largest palm date valleys in Morocco.

Continue to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival, enjoy some relaxation time while admiring the sunset over the dunes. Dinner will be served in a luxury bivouac, followed by a lively evening in a desert ambiance at the luxury camp—an extraordinary and memorable moment in the desert.

DAY 7: LUXURY BIVOUAC / MERZOUGA

After enjoying the beautiful sunrise, breakfast will be served, followed by a departure for a 4x4 excursion around the Erg Chebbi dunes, some of which rise up to 150 meters high. Continue to the village of Khamlia for a unique experience of Gnaoua music. After visiting Khamlia, head to the village of Merzouga and the oasis of Hassilabied, known for its irrigation system.

Return for lunch at the lodge and enjoy some free time to appreciate the beauty of the desert from your accommodation, located right at the foot of the sand dunes. You’ll have access to a pool and the opportunity to climb the dunes, allowing for relaxation in this paradisiacal setting.

In the afternoon, enjoy a delightful experience with the camel herders for a camel ride through the dunes to witness a magnificent sunset. Pause on the dunes before returning on camels to your accommodation for dinner.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA / TOUDRA GORGES / TINGHIR / DADES VALLEY / DADES

Breakfast and departure to the small town of Dades via Tinjdad. Continue on to Tinghir for a walking tour to discover the Toudra Gorges—these stunning gorges feature high limestone cliffs carved by the Toudra River over millennia, reaching heights of up to 300 meters.

Stop for lunch before continuing to the Dades Valley, passing through the extensive palm grove of Tinghir. The journey through the Dades Valley takes you along a beautiful road, showcasing surprising rock formations resembling fingers or monkey feet, along with a variation of colors and natural landscapes.

Make a stop for a breathtaking panoramic view of a section of the Dades Gorges Tissadrine, also known as the "Snake Road." Dinner and accommodation will follow.

DAY 9: DADES / KALAA M'GOUNA / OUARZAZATE / AÏT BEN HADDOU / OUNILA VALLEY / TICHKA PASS / MARRAKECH

Breakfast and departure through the Valley of Roses via the town of Skoura and Ouarzazate. Stop for photos in front of the Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco," before continuing to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou.

Lunch and then a fascinating visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It consists of a group of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, representing a type of traditional pre-Saharan habitat. Some of the dwellings resemble small castles with their tall towers. The oldest constructions date back to the 12th century.

Next, depart for Marrakech, crossing the Ounila Valley, which offers magnificent landscapes with beautiful villages built from rammed earth. Continue to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, enjoying stunning panoramas at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Dinner and accommodation will follow.

DAY 10: GUIDED TOUR OF THE CITY OF MARRAKECH

Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful gardens in Marrakech. It features over 300 species of plants from five continents, with a magical contrast of Majorelle blue, yellow, and stunning plant artistry.

Next, discover the ramparts of Marrakech, which served as a wall to protect the city, and visit the Bahia Palace, dating back to the 19th century. This palace reveals the love of a great vizier for his favorite.

Lunch in the medina, followed by a historical guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed medina of Marrakech. The souks are filled with enchanting scents and vibrant colors.

Visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a Koranic school reflecting Saadian architecture, and then explore Jemaa El Fna Square, the liveliest area in Marrakech. This square is the social heart of the medina, featuring snake charmers, acrobats, musicians, and water carriers—making it one of the most famous squares in the world.

Enjoy a fascinating visit to a local herbalist, where you'll have the opportunity to discover the world of spices. Our tour concludes at the Koutoubia Mosque, with its sublime minaret standing at a height of 77 meters. Dinner and accommodation will follow.

DAY 11 : MARRAKECH / ESSAOUIRA

Breakfast and departure for Essaouira, also known as "ex-Mogador," located on the Atlantic coast. Travel through vast argan tree fields and stop at an argan oil cooperative, renowned for its many properties.

Continue on to Essaouira, where lunch will be served at a seaside restaurant. Afterward, enjoy a historical guided walking tour of the city's Skala and port, lined with numerous blue wooden boats. The Portuguese Skalas of Essaouira are now a legendary site.

Explore the souks, representing all artisan trades, along with several traditional markets, the consulate district, and the Jewish quarter of Mellah. Dinner and accommodation will follow.

DAY 12 : ESSAOUIRA

A free day with breakfast included. You have several options to choose from:

-Relax at the hotel.
-Enjoy a free day by the sea.

 

Day 13: ESSAOUIRA / SAFI / OUALIDIYA / EL JADIDA / CASABLANCA

One day before the end of the greatest tour of your life, enjoy breakfast and depart along the coastal road towards Safi. Lunch will be served along the way.

Continue to El Jadida, also known as Mazagan. This fortified city was built by the Portuguese in the early 16th century and was only reclaimed by the Moroccans in 1769.

Continue on to Casablanca for dinner and accommodation.

JOUR 14 : CASABLANCA / AEROPORT

Breakfast and departure for your transfer to Casablanca Airport for a safe flight.
